Hands and feet in one visit: where to start

To arrange a manicure and pedicure in Florence in one appointment, ask the salon for availability that includes both services. State the result you want for your hands and feet, the product already applied and any time you need to leave by. The team can then propose an order and confirm the total time.

For feet: specify the finish too

Decide whether you are interested in a SPA pedicure, gel polish for feet or the removal and polish application listed in our prices. These names are not interchangeable: ask which steps your chosen treatment includes and specify the colour or finish you want.

2. Tell us about existing polish, gel and nail work

The finished result is only part of the information needed. What is already on your nails also matters when arranging the session. When you contact the salon, describe your hands and feet separately: for example, gel polish to renew on your hands and regular polish on your feet.

If you cannot remember the material's name, say so and ask how to provide a useful reference. A photograph can help the initial discussion, but assessment at the salon is still needed to define the work required. Do not pull or peel the product off to make your nails appear bare before arriving.

At Nail Express, removal and dry manicure are included with gel polish for hands and nail extensions. This inclusion should not automatically be extended to every service on the price list: check the specific service for feet and other requests. If you would like to move from gel to a different finish, mention the change before booking. The team can reserve appropriate time rather than discovering it after the appointment has started.

3. Agree on the total duration, not just the arrival time

Nail Express provides the following appointment lengths for hands:

Ask the team about the pedicure duration according to the service chosen. It cannot be deduced from the price or from the time stated for hands. The total time for a hands-and-feet visit must include the agreed order, any additional work and how the workstations are organised.

Ask: “I would like gel polish on hands and feet; how much time should I allow in total?” If you have another commitment afterwards, add the time you need to leave by. This makes it easier to establish whether the proposed availability fits your schedule.

One appointment does not automatically mean simultaneous treatments. Whether hands and feet can be treated at the same time depends on the team, workstations and requested services, and must be confirmed. For planning, use the total duration given by the salon. Do not halve the combined times by assuming two technicians will be available.

4. Check prices, inclusions and any supplements

A clear estimate distinguishes the two services requested. In the Nail Express Firenze price list, a dry manicure costs €22, gel polish for hands €39, nail extensions €88 and an infill without extensions €66. For feet, the list includes a SPA pedicure at €33, gel polish at €39 and removal with polish at €29.

These examples add the listed prices; they are not promotional packages or binding quotations for every request. To understand which steps a combination includes, agree on the work with the team. Do not add a separate dry manicure to gel polish or nail extensions: it is already included, together with removal.

French tips or nail art carry a €10 supplement: specify which service you would like decorated and confirm the total. A reference photograph helps clarify the request; it does not make every design equivalent in time and work.

5. Choose a suitable time slot and confirm both services

Once treatments and timing are clear, look for a specific slot. Nail Express opens Tuesday to Saturday, with a break from 13:30 to 14:00. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday hours are 09:30–13:30 and 14:00–19:30; on Friday the afternoon closes at 18:30, and on Saturday at 18:00. The salon is closed on Monday and Sunday.

The day's closing time is not the latest possible start time for every treatment. A 90-minute set of nail extensions and a pedicure require a different slot from a 30-minute dry manicure. Ask for availability for the whole visit, especially if you would like to arrive late in the afternoon.

When you receive a proposal, check that confirmation covers both hands and feet. Verify the day, arrival time, expected duration and agreed services. Start with the time actually available, including travel both ways. The 30-minute dry manicure covers hands only: it does not automatically include a pedicure. Tell us the event date and style you have in mind: coordinated colours, French tips, a subtle finish or decoration. Show a reference for hands and another for feet if you want different effects.
